Compute Resource Pricing
At the core of Nexara Network's pricing structure is the cost of compute resources. Users are charged based on the amount of computational power they consume, measured in Nexara Compute Units (NCUs). NCUs represent a standardized unit of computational capacity, taking into account factors such as CPU, memory, and storage.
The pricing for compute resources is as follows:
$0.05 per NCU-hour
Billing is done on a per-second basis, with a minimum charge of 1 minute per task
This means that if you run a task that requires 2 NCUs and takes 30 minutes to complete, you will be charged: 2 NCUs * 0.5 hours * $0.05/NCU-hour = $0.05.
Data Transfer Pricing
Nexara Network also charges for data transfer in and out of the network. This includes data transferred between your application and the Nexara Network, as well as data transferred between different nodes within the network.
The pricing for data transfer is as follows:
$0.10 per GB for data transfer in
$0.20 per GB for data transfer out
Note that data transfer between nodes within the Nexara Network is free of charge, promoting efficient communication and collaboration within the decentralized ecosystem.
Storage Pricing
For applications that require persistent storage, Nexara Network provides a decentralized storage solution powered by IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) and Filecoin. The pricing for storage is based on the amount of data stored and the duration of storage.
The pricing for storage is as follows:
$0.03 per GB-month for data storage
$0.01 per 10,000 read requests
$0.02 per 10,000 write requests
This means that if you store 100 GB of data for a month, with 1,000,000 read requests and 500,000 write requests, your storage cost will be: (100 GB * $0.03/GB-month) + (1,000,000 / 10,000 * $0.01) + (500,000 / 10,000 * $0.02) = $3 + $1 + $1 = $5.

To help users get started with Nexara Network and explore its capabilities, we offer a generous free tier. The free tier includes:
100 NCU-hours per month
1 GB of data transfer in and out per month
1 GB of storage per month
